Career Practitioner Critiques Resumes At Local Career Fair

CHARLOTTE, MAY 7, 2012 – Nathan Adams, principal of First Impressions Resume Center in Indian Trail, provided professional resume advice to more than 50 job seekers attending a career fair sponsored by Coast-to-Coast Career Fairs Monday at the Marriott Charlotte Executive Park.

Job seekers were anxious to meet with Nathan and have a professional critique their resume. Although the career fair ended at 2 PM, job seekers stayed as late as 4 PM just to get a chance to speak with a professional resume writer and career coach.

In addition to spending time with each job seeker and discussing ways to improve their resumes, Nathan provided tip sheets covering answers to “The Biggest Resume Questions” and a listing of the “Top Ten Resume Tips”.

Nathan adds “This was my first career fair and I did not anticipate the interest that I would receive. There were plenty of employers there to speak with job seekers, but my line was consistently the longest!”

Nathan says that he loved attending his first local career fair and providing advice to job seekers in this tough economy. “If I can help these job seekers get closer to getting interviews by providing tips to help them improve their resume, then my time is not wasted.”

Nathan will be attending another career fair in June. This fair is sponsored by National Career Fairs ( and will be held on June 4 from 11AM until 2PM at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel.
