Resume writing is about three things: strategy, positioning, and merchandising. Here is what I will do for you:

  1. I will select a strategy based on your career objective that will increase your chances of interviews.
  2. I will position your information on your resume so that your most impressive accomplishments are highlighted and that you are perceived to be the most qualified candidate.
  3. Merchandising is all about selling a product. You are the product and I will help you communicate your features (skills and work history) and benefits (achievements, honors, and contributions) to the hiring manager.

 Career coaching is about helping you reach that “Ah-Hah” moment. Here is what I will do for you:

  1. I will help you break through and overcome the barriers that have been preventing you from enjoying the success that comes with landing a job that brings you the joy you deserve.
  2. I will ask the difficult questions that you may be afraid to answer.

What services do you offer?


I write customized professional resumes, marketing letters, and customized LinkedIn profiles. I also provide one-on-one career coaching services. I specialize in working with clients that are in career transition or that are currently working but looking for something better in their career.


 Who do you work with?


I am very selective in who I accept as a client to work with? Why? Because I cannot help everyone. I am a resume writer and career coach, not a magician or miracle worker.

First, you need to be absolutely serious about your career and be willing to make an investment. A new customized resume, marketing letter, customized LinkedIn profile, and professional coaching can help you get that promotion, land that dream job, change careers, and even change your life.

  • I need to be able to see some semblance of career accomplishment in the existing resume or feel comfortable with your ability to articulate why you are good at what you do.
  • Yes, I am great at helping my clients pull out long-forgotten skills and accomplishments, but this information must be there from the start.
  • If you cannot articulate why you are good at what you do and what you have done to provide value to the companies you have worked for, then unfortunately, I will not be able to accept you as a client.

Why do I need a LinkedIn Profile?


LinkedIn officially launched in 2003 and had 4500 total members at the end of its first month in business. Today, LinkedIn boasts of more than 100 million members in over 200 countries and territories. LinkedIn allows you to connect with former and present colleagues and classmates, advance your career by discovering inside connections, and further your knowledge base by getting answers from subject matter experts. In addition, employers and recruiters are consistently using LinkedIn more and more to source talent for open positions. Your next career opportunity could very well be one connection away on LinkedIn. If you are not on LinkedIn, you are seriously undermining your job search success.


Why do I need career coaching?


Many people falsely assume that they have all the tools to successfully navigate their career transition. Maybe you are out of work and think all you need is a resume. What about help developing your public exit statement or your 30-second marketing statement? Do you know the importance of having a personal marketing plan? What about a target company list? How much will I have to pay for your services?


Although price is important, price should NOT be your only deciding factor in making a decision to work with professionals like me.

If you do your research, you will find that prices for career services vary greatly. You will also find many people with little or no experience that call themselves resume writers and or career coaches. Prices for resumes can be found as low as $19.99 and as high as a $1,000 or more. All my services are customized based on your unique career circumstances and I would be happy to discuss your situation and give you a quote. If you feel my prices are too expensive for you, then I’m probably not the resume writer and career coach that you need to work with. My services require an investment because I happen to be very good at what I do. My clients invest in my services and in turn experience career success by the interviews and job offers that they receive. What is the process you take to develop my customized professional resume, marketing letter, and/or customized LinkedIn profile and how long does it take?


Once you have reviewed my website in detail and have made a decision to work with me, just complete this brief information_form and email me a copy of your existing resume (if available). I’ll review your information form and existing resume and will call you within one business day to discuss my service recommendations and pricing. If we decide that working together makes sense, then we will schedule time to conduct your professional consultation. After your consultation, I will then begin developing your new documents (customized professional resume, marketing letter, and/or customized LinkedIn profile). Developing your new professional documents oftentimes requires me to conduct additional research to make sure your resume is targeted to your career goals. Please allow at least 7 business days for me to complete your first draft documents. Once finished, I will email your documents to you for your review. Any changes will be incorporated into a second draft and promptly emailed to you for a second review. If there are no changes, the process is complete and your final documents will be prepared and emailed to you.


What if I am a former client and just need an update?


Updates for former clients are currently priced at $249 and price can increase depending on the complexity of the update. It is best to call my office for a firm quote.


What forms of payment do you accept?


I currently accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard credit card payments. I can take payment by phone, or if you prefer, you can pay with PayPal. Please note that payment is required in advance and authorizes me to begin working on your project.


Can you guarantee that I will get a job by using your services?


This is a great question and one that I love to answer! No resume writing professional can honestly guarantee that you will get a job by using their services simply because they cannot control how you will use the documents that they develop for you. My clients select me because what they have been doing has not been working; they have not been receiving interviews with the resume they have been using, their career search strategy consists solely of relying on the job boards, and or they are just stuck and have nowhere else to turn. I have remained in this industry because I am successful in helping my clients achieve their career goals.

What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?


You should think first about your career objective. What is it you would like to do? The answer to this question is very important to me because I cannot write an effective resume for you until I know this answer. Once I know this answer, every question I ask you going forward is in an attempt to gather information to support your career objective.

Second, you should think about your most relevant skills and accomplishments that support your career objective. Again, this information will be used to support what you want to do. Dollars and numbers are great ways to quantify your accomplishments, so please be ready to share this information.
